I've Finally Found Them, Great Beading Needles!

Guys, I have to tell you about these needles. I've been going at bracelet making pretty hard lately, and I'm finally upgrading my supplies and tools.

I was just using regular sewing needles at first, but they're clearly rigid and hard to maneuver through small spaces. Then I found needles at AC Moore that were for beading but they were essentially just twisted wire and kind of sucked. Then, the large bendable awesome (or so I thought needles) that ended up ripping my thread in half after a few uses. Not cool, because they ruined more than one bracelet and hours of work on me.

Now, I've finally found some needles that I really love! The only issue I have is that they get bent up and annoying sometimes, but it's SO much better than ruining my work. This is them guys! 3-PACK - Beadalon Collapsible Eye Needles 2.5-Inch Fine 4 Pack...if you make wrap bracelets or do any type of jewelry making/beading, I highly recommend them. I also love that I can get them on Amazon for a pretty good price. Yay for avoiding the general public and long lines! :D

A Great Gift Bow Step-by-Step How To

I wrote a lens about creating a gift bow from a page from a magazine. From a solid color to a multi-patterned bow, it's super easy, cheap and fun! And also a great way to reuse a magazine before you get rid of it.

I have taken photos from start to finish, hopefully this will be a very easy project for everyone! Interested? CLICK HERE for instructions!

I got the idea from the How About Orange blog, they posted a how to as well.

What I've Been Up To

I know I haven't been posting a lot recently.

I have been kind of busy with going to the chiropractor a few times a week to try to get over the trauma to my back from the accident I was in a few weeks ago.

I haven't been too crazy busy otherwise, but I'm trying to take some "me" time to just relax and heal. I've finally had the chance to read more too, I'm trying to get rid of a ton of books taking up space in my apartment, and I'm keeping track.

I've also been catching up on laundry and cleaning that I was behind on when I was working. Also, a little bit of decorating for Halloween, some Christmas shopping here and there, and couponing and stocking up on the important things before the snow starts coming down.

I haven't really been on Gather much either. The only thing I have been really posting there is my new Weekly Free eBook post. I've posted 4 so far.
I have been spending a bit of time at various places online when I feel the urge to log on. I have been over on Squidoo trying to get my lenses in order, give them more detail, add more lenses, and promote them with my Twitter account. I've also created a Facebook page dedicated to freebies, product reviews and making money online. I also created a lens about that subject.

There are also 2 other websites that I have been spending a lot of time on. The first one is SuperPoints, it takes a little while to push the super lucky button 50 times, but it's not so bad because I keep winning. :) The other site is Beezag, my boyfriend and I both have accounts there and were doing pretty well with getting videos to watch and cashing out!

I know that seems like a lot, but it really isn't that much since none of it really takes too long. And one place I'm always visiting throughout the day online is SwagBucks. I always use that site to search for things instead of Google, because I win points when I'm searching at least once a day.

How I Reuse Old Magazines

I wrote an article on this a while back and have recently started coming up with ideas for new projects. I have been going through my insane stacks of magazines and getting rid of what I can. You can check out what I've done with magazines before here on this page.

Do you have any ideas about how you can reuse old magazines?
